Domestic Water Irrigation System

Customers original request & our ability to select the correct solution

Our client made an initial enquiry regarding the supply and commissioning of a domestic water irrigation system for a new build property in Holywood Co. Down. An initial on-site consultation was carried out with all relevant parties such as the architect, primary contractor and the client.
The DPS Product sales team selected an irrigation system to not only suit the garden design requirements but also the on-site water storage limitations.

Process Description & Equipment Supplied

After careful consideration, DPS decided that an underground water storage tank was the best fit due to the limited space and the clients concerns that a above ground tank was detrimental the aesthetic look of the property.

Hunter PGP sprinklers heads were selected to be used in conjunction with an X controller panel which would provide the homeowner with maximum control and flexibility. Pumping the water from the tank our engineers decided to go with a DAB Euroinox 30/80 M. At the rear of the property, shrubs and hedging was to be fed by a node battery controller which was to be linked to 16mm dripline tubing. The node controller was ideal as the client wanted a controller which would switch on when the conditions were dry and not start when conditions were wet.
