Where it all began
Drilling and Pumping Supplies Ltd was founded in 1983 as a supplier of drilling equipment and small agricultural and quarry pumps. Since then, the business has grown steadily and evolved to meet the growing market demand for pumping equipment and bespoke projects.
DPS has now become established as the leading supplier of high quality pumping, treatment and wet infrastructure equipment throughout Ireland.
The evolution of the business has seen the small family owned company with its main focus on the supply and installation of pumps within the commercial and agricultural sector gradually move to develop across multiple sectors, our product portfolio now covers most aspects of our clients water and wastewater pumping and treatment needs.
This, alongside our new Fluid Thinking which launched in 2022, reinforces our commitment to our dynamic and innovative approach to satisfying our client’s requirements.
Over 45 team members are based at our head office in Bangor, Co. Down and operate three key departments.
Our Sales department incorporating our range of standard and bespoke engineered products including pumps, mixers, screens and treatment solutions as well as our growing aftersales and trade counter teams.
Our Service & Repair department covers all aspects of water equipment from the domestic end user to the municipal water treatment plants both on the road and via our in-house workshop.
Our Specialist Contracting department supplies a full turnkey offering across all sectors for bespoke water, wastewater treatment and recycling schemes as well as working within the renewable and green sectors.
We proudly hold sole agencies for KSB, Landia, Seepex, Aqseptence, Wangen, LG Sonic, Nortech & Crest Pumps to name a few, while we have built strong partnerships with global suppliers like Suez, Pedrollo, DAB, Siemens and Fristam.
This diverse product portfolio gives our team the ability and access to provide solutions to every market sector from a direct product supply to a full turnkey project along with the follow on aftersales & service to ensure DPS can support our customers for the fully product lifecycle.
We have also developed our own bespoke Versatile range of products, which began in the early 90s as simple packaged solutions to the agricultural sector which we still supply and install many of today.
It has since expanded to incorporate the Wheel Wash System sold across the construction and quarrying sectors, while most recently, we have moved our focus to solutions fully constructed off-site, most recently in the form of Clean Water Booster Stations Modular Water Treatment Plants This development of these product ranges is driven by client requirements and shows the progressive thought process around our turnkey offing.
We have set ourselves key goals as we evolve over the coming years, with our main focus on providing a Best in Class service to our customers in customer service, technical support, project design and delivery and our health and safety standards.
We are certified to ISO:45001 health and safety management, ISO:9001 quality standard and ISO:14001 environmental standard as part of our Certified Integrated Management System.
We also hold memberships and accreditations with ConstructionLine, EcoVadis and CEMARS.
