The Kelda Group who operates four sites in Northern Ireland; Dunore Point, Ballinrees, Castor Bay and Moyola required DPS to upgrade these four systems as through over time they are now not performing effectively
and unable to meet the needs of the site.

Project Scope

  • To begin with DPS needed to remove the redundant equipment from each site and disposal of such, which was must met under current legislation and KWSA guidelines.

  • The new duty dosing skid and kiosk will be provided with all safety interlock equipment.

  • Replace dilution, mixing and delivery lines to dosing point at flash mixing inlet chamber.

  • DPS provided the Kelda Water Group with the option to manually divert from above flash mixing dosing point to an existing Preozone dosing point.

  • Underground ducts were put in place to route dosing pipes to flash mixer and pre-ozone dosing points.

  • DPS provided the appropriate splash proof enclosure around the Pre-ozone dosing point.
