Project Scope

  • Two new transport pumps were connected via a separation header. The existing main transport pumps had a maximum head of 370 kPa so the new pumps were made to deliver at least this pressure.

  • The transport pumps were installed in a 10ft container on a 100mm high steel frame. The container provided for this customer included a control panel for each transport pump and the container contained all piping, control equipment, ventilation and electric heating. The walls, doors and roof of the container were insulated with 50mm sandwich panels.

  • The ventilation consisted of 2 air grills 250x250 mm in the container doors and roof exhaust fan to help control the temperature.
