As Mackle Petfood’s has grown as a company their production needs have expanded beyond their old water storage system.

To cope with this increase in demand from production a new water storage and pumping project was needed.

Water Storage & Pumping Project at Mackles:

  • Each tank wall was constructed from grade glass fused to steel panels.

  • Each tank was fitted with a low- level manway unit which was 800mm in diameter.

  • The hot water storage tank fitted with one 100mm single flange pipe connections

  • The hot water buffer tank would be fitted with two 150mm single flange pipe connections.

  • The above ground storage tank was fitted with one 200mm diameter (Outlet), four 100mm diameter (Inlets) and one 150mm (Overflow) diameter single flange pipe connections.
