Water Education Day for Local Schools

EPS recently supported Blackstairs GWS in hosting a site visit and water education day for the pupils of Rathnure and Caim National Schools in County Wexford. The visit included a focus on the catchment, source and treatment plant, while a demonstration of distribution main sourcing was also provided to the pupils.

EPS, the treatment plant DBO service provider, facilitated access to the treatment plant and had samples of raw water, partially filtered water and drinking water on view, as well as a sample of sludge produced during the treatment process. The day was a huge success.
