This is a particularly challenging and exciting time to be stepping up into the role. The pressures of Covid-19 are driving rapid and transformational change in the UK water sector which, combined with Brexit and the transition to AMP7, are putting a much sharper focus on the role of British Water and its work on behalf of the supply chain. I would like to pay tribute to the Board of British Water, in particular the out-going UK Forum Chair Steve Webber, for welcoming me so warmly into the fold and for supporting me in my year as Vice-Chair. I’d also like to thank EPS for giving me the opportunity to put myself forward and for the role. I know it’s going to be a rewarding experience and an important step forward in my professional development.
