DESCRIPTION
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Electrician ideally from a water or wastewater background to join our busy Contracts division based in Bangor, Co Down.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the Contracts Manager / Project Manager and providing daily updates on progress
- Work with a large range of mechanical/electrical equipment & materials. Including, but not limited to, pumps and specialist equipment in water and wastewater
- Engage with the project management and design teams to ensure smooth project delivery on site
- Support DPS Trainee Programme and develop future electrical engineers to a high standard
- Carry out on site activities to a high standard and in line with client expectations
- Engage with DPS customers in a professional manner
- Site visits as required to establish customer needs and develop plan for delivery
- Maintaining a high standard of service and communication with customers
- Completing all job-related paperwork and documentation as required
- Ensure service jobs are carried out in compliance with our HSQE policies and procedures and that where required, site specific MS and RA are issued in advance of works taking place
- To perform any other duties as may be reasonably required from time-to-time
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working in water and wastewater applications
- Qualified electrician
- ICA experience is highly desirable
- Willing to train junior employees/ apprentices
- Excellent fault finding/diagnostic skills
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
- A clean, full UK driving licence
