We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for various municipal & industrial works throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland.  This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person to join a fast paced and innovative company.



  • Work with a large range of mechanical equipment & materials. Including, but not limited to, pumps, specialist mechanical equipment in water and wastewater, small to large bore pipework, and access metal works
  • Carrying out a range of new or modifying existing installations
  • To investigate, inspect, maintain, repair and service a range of mechanical equipment
  • To perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged mechanical equipment & installations as required.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repair on a range of equipment
  • Strong technical skills with a good understanding of engineering drawings
  • Reporting to your Line Manager and updating on progress
  • To complete all job-related paperwork and documentation as required
  • To discuss ongoing works with site teams
  • To follow all company / customer HSQE policies and procedures
  • To perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time to time


 Skills / Attributes

  • Previous experience working in municipal and industrial applications
  • Pump installation and maintenance experience would be desirable
  • NVQ/ City and Guilds qualifications in engineering/welding/fabrication would be desirable
  • Site supervisor CSR/CSCS Gold Card would be desirable
  • Willing to train junior employees/ apprentices
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision
  • A clean full UK driving licence
